Beginner Sewing Class: Pillow Case (1.5 - 2 hours)

Start sewing and make a custom Pillow Case! 

I’ll guide you through the first stages of beginning to sew and show you how to solve minor problems than can come up.  

You will learn: How to thread your machine, put in a bobbin and sew straight lines. 

Prerequisites: None! If you have never touched a machine before, this is the class for you. 

What to bring:  Bring along one metre of cotton fabric (craft cotton is fine for summer and you may like to choose flannelette for winter) plus an additional 20 cm in contrast fabric. I also recommend washing your fabric in cold water on a short cycle to eliminate shrinkage.

If you have a sewing machine that you would like to learn on, please bring it along. Otherwise you are welcome to use one of my collection of vintage machines. 

Your class will be held in person at my workshop studio, 84b Charles St, Seddon. 

Just book in for your preferred time. If you want to Sew with a Friend, book the custom class for 1.5 hours at a price of $100
