Beginner Sewing Class: Pyjama/Lounge Pants (3 hours)

Want to make the perfect pair of lounge/pyjama pants for yourself or a family member? This is the class for you! 

You will learn: How to make a simple pattern, create a hem cuff and add an elastic waist.

NOTE: This is a longer class - for kids I recommend that they complete this project in 2 x 1.5 hour classes 

Prerequisites: This is a confident beginner class. If you have never touched a machine before, I recommend starting with the Coaster class and the Tote Bag class beforehand. 

What to bring: Bring along a separate pair of pants to use as the base for a pattern - these will not be cut up! 

Fabric required: Fabric must be equal to twice the length of your pants plus an extra 30 cm. Upcycled fabric can be used! 

If you have a sewing machine that you would like to learn on, please bring it along. Otherwise you are welcome to use one of my collection of vintage machines.

Your class will be held in person at my workshop studio, 84b Charles St, Seddon. 

Just book in for your preferred time. Currently I have a limit of two for beginner classes but if you have a larger group, call to discuss options.
