Term 4 2024 Kids Sewing
Term 4 2024 Kids Sewing
Learn to sew during Term 4!
Each week, kids will learn beginner sewing basics and individually create new projects with Natalie in a creative and inclusive environment.
Suitable for ages 10 and up.
Small classes of two to four students.
Classes will only run with two or more students.
Let me know if your child needs a sewing buddy and I can try to match them with a student of similar age and experience.
Classes will run from 4.30 to 6.00 pm or from 5.00 to 6.30 pm each Monday at the Dusty Disco Ball studio upstairs at 84B Charles St Seddon.
Join for a single class ($60) or save on the full term price (the cost of your first class can be deducted from the full term cost if your child wants to keep going).
What you will learn: The after school group caters to beginner sewists and covers sewing machine use, safety, designing sewing projects and development of sewing skills. We will begin the term with a Coaster or Pillow Case, then students will be able to choose their next project from suitable options.
Prerequisites: I generally recommend taking an absolute beginner class beforehand, namely my Beginner Coaster class, or any of my school holiday classes.
What to bring: You may bring along your own sewing machine to learn on, or borrow one of my vintage sewing machines for your lesson. Also bring along some basic sewing supplies (scissors etc) if you have them, labelled if possible.
There will be a small list of suggested fabrics to bring each lesson as well as upcycled fabrics and scraps will be supplied for students to use. Lists will be supplied.
If you have any questions or trouble booking, contact me on 0419155380.
Looking forward to sewing with you,
x Natalie
